MISSION STATEMENT

The Riverton Village Library selects, acquires, organizes and provides access to books and other materials of contemporary interest and/or permanent value for the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of the community's users. The Library also promotes the importance and appreciation of reading through adult and children's programs. 

The Library is governed by a 7 member Board consisting of

Vice President- Jim Watson

Secretary- Sara Camp

Trustees- Ann Robb, Gail Schroeder, Jeanne Thorpe, Debbie Woodson

Librarians: Nancy Kocis; Assistants: Stacy Laatsch and Janna Mohan

 

Get to Know Your Riverton Village Library

The Riverton Village Library is a community resource that is free for people living within the corporate limits of Riverton. As your library, it offers many services and benefits besides a large collection of books:

Current DVDs, videos and CDs: free checkout

5 Internet computers--l for adult use only and 4 open ones for any age (Those under 17 need a parental consent form)

Computer printing: 10 cents/page for black and white, 20 cents/page for colors

FAX machine: $1.00 up to 5 pages

Magazines for all ages

Audio books: listen to a book while driving!

Good selection of best sellers

Interlibrary loan: books can be borrowed for you from other libraries

Your library card is usable at other public libraries

Genealogy resources

These services available to those outside the corporate limits for $40/year per family 

Utilize your Riverton Village Library

Hours: Mondays through Thursdays: 9am - 2pm and 4-8pm ;

Saturday’s 10 am 3 pm
